PIR Insulation
PIR insulation is a rigid foam board with one of the highest thermal performances per millimetre of any commonly-used insulation. That makes it the right choice when you want a serious upgrade without losing too much depth on a roof, wall, or floor. We supply the boards, cut them in cleanly, and seal the joins so you get the full performance the product is designed to deliver.
We fit PIR in pitched and flat roofs, in warm- and cold-roof builds, in stud walls and behind plasterboard, between joists on suspended floors, and on solid floors under new screeds. Garden rooms, garage conversions, and outbuilding refurbs are common too, anywhere a thin board needs to do the work of much thicker fibre insulation.
Done properly, PIR cuts heat loss noticeably and brings room comfort up in the colder months. We pay attention to the bits that matter (taped joints, sealed perimeters, and a continuous insulation line) because PIR's reputation lives or dies on the quality of the install.
Every job is quoted on a free site survey. We measure the area, work out the right thickness for what you're trying to achieve, and write you a fixed price before we start. PIR pricing depends on board thickness, area, and access, so you'll get a clear, itemised quote in writing on the day of the survey.
